Best Fun Restaurants in St Mawes

The location is beautiful overlooking the beach- sadly it was a cold dark night in early March, I’m sure in summer it will be amazing. Service fantastic- all staff lovely and very helpful. Food delicious-we had one tuna steak & half a lobster Thermidor. Probably need a whole lobster, as half a lobster & fries was a light meal. Quite pricey - but we had a lovely evening thank you

A pleasant experience! Good variety of dishes on the menu suitable for all palates and requirements. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely eat here again & recommend.

5th time back and not disappointed at all. Portions are generous and delicious. Service is fantastic and not at all rushed (to the point where if you're impatient you might think it slow) a perfect embodiment of the relaxed South African vibe it puts across. Staff could not be more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Cocktails went down very well!!

Fabulous food - the fish pie is really gorgeous and is very popular. The staff are all fantastic - welcoming, warm and very helpful. Atmosphere of the building is cosy and the beams are fantastic although ducking may be required in places! A walk down the pontoon to look at the river and watch the wildlife is a must, even in chilly weather. Car park spaces are limited but everyone seems to manage fine!
