- LLisaWarwickshire •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoWe were seated and served promptly, there were 6 of us in our party, food came out quickly and piping hot, my husband hand the steak with garlic sauce, bit too garlicy though, i do think the food is over priced, I had a fish finger sandwich £8.95, you had to pay an extra £3.50 for chips which i think is way too much. Same goes for the drinks, pint of blue moon £5.95! Nice meal, just a bit pricey.More infoThe Malt ShovelPrice: Moderate• British• Atherstone•4.6
- JJenniStaffordshire •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was, as always, absolutely lovely. 3 of us had the roast beef that was cooked to perfection. My only slight criticism was it wasn't hot. I understand they were very busy, but I'd of liked it hotter. Service was a bit slower than normal but again assume that was due to how busy they were, which does say a lot about the venue and what it offers.More infoThe Rose InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Atherstone•4.6
- GGeorginaDerbyshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoSuch a lovely place to eat out with friends. We sat upstairs for our meal, a lovely environment. But also great to walk through a bustling bar! A great atmosphere. The food was outstanding and great value. Best scotch eggs ever! Our waitress was lovely and very attentive. We will definitely be going again.More infoThe Two PigsPrice: Moderate• Pub• Barton-under-Needwood•4.5
- CCarolynEdinburgh/Midlothian •8 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Nov 2024A wonderful country find in a tiny village. The restaurant is definitely one to savour local farm to table, foraging and local game delicacies and each course was delicious. Staff are friendly, informative and welcoming and on a cold snowy night provided hot water bottles for each table to ensure we were sufficiently warm.More infoThe Royal OakPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Shipston-On-Stour•4.9
