Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Penkridge

First time trying the Boat inn, but it won't be the last. Good food and great value. Even though it was busy, the two girls serving the food worked their socks off. Compliments to the kitchen staff also. And the lads behind the bar kept everything flowing. Many thanks.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch for three here and will definitely be coming back to try the regular menu. Nice roast beef and special mention for the puddings - we tried three between us and they were all delicious. We were made to feel very welcome, and the local beer was great too. We had to leave too quickly - I'd have happly settled in for the afternoon.

Our visit to The Lesters Arms yesterday evening was an absolute delight. The food was excellent, as was the service and the ambience. I am very pleased indeed to have found a venue where the dining experience lives up to its reputation and will certainly be booking again; if only to order the Passion Fruit Cheesecake which is an experience in itself. Thank you.

Lovely pub and staff, unfortunately the£24 steak meal for one of our party was so fatty she couldn’t cut it. We were offered a replacement but as is always the case, you end up eating alone when it eventually arrives so we asked for it to be removed from the bill. Shame really
