Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Limpenhoe

Lovely birthday lunch with my brother. We went for the light lunch menu for a change but even the club sandwiches defeated us! Surprise birthday dessert was gifted which was a lovely touch. Service not as good today as usual but they were busy. Christmas decorations look lovely. Still our favourite place locally as loyal customers.

Brilliant service from delightful waiting team and the food was outstanding Beef carpaccio with all the trimming and sautéed scallops with a delightful light curry sauce made a perfect starter And we had Brancaster mussels for our main course in a white wine sauce . Big fat and juicy with chunky chips crisp outside and fluffy inside. Not forgetting a flowery gooseberry Sauvignon from NZ. Perfection And the classic lemon tart to conclude We have to return!

A nicely revamped pub/restaurant, higher end prices for food which was not very good. Of the four meals ordered one as great (steak & kidney suet pudding) The others poor, Hake was over crumbed and dry, casserole was dry with dumplings like bullets. The deserts were the saving grace in a meal which was overall underwhelming. Bar staff very pleasant and helpful. Table waitress had no finesse and rather abrupt. It’s a shame the management don’t seem to be able to keep regular staff, maybe the problems lie there!!

Great food and great service. Roast dinner was plentiful and well cooked with an excellent selection of vegetables.

Very lovely setting, very relaxing , tables not to near to each other, background music not to loud. Nice and clean. The food was excellent, top quality ingredients, expertly cooked and well presented. All the staff were very welcoming and polite and helpful. Very reasonably priced for the quality and service. Looking forward to returning.
