Best Casual Restaurants in Bridge End

Booked for 5 adults and informed them that we also had two buggies, all accommodated. We had the Thursday offer of buy one get one free. All the pizzas were excellent and soft drinks were very well priced. So nice to find a restaurant that can accommodate families.

When visiting the White Horse it is always welcoming and you immediately feel at home. A roaring fire and lovely staff. We both had a large plate and a pudding and the food was excellent. We had a seafood pie and a beef and ale pie which was a special. The tastes were out of this world. For puddings we had a croissant and butter pudding with ice cream and a crème brûlée. Again they were so different to normal fayre and a real pleasure. The combination of lovely ambience and special food was a lovely experience.

The food here is excellent, and I enjoyed my time as a solo traveler. I'm always on the lookout for heart-healthy food, and although the menu falls short on that front (I could have asked for the food to be cooked with olive oil, but I didn't), the meal was fine. If I were to be in Chester again. I'd ask for that substitution, if they can accommodate that.

Excellent service. Very prompt and helpful staff. Food good.....portions not as sizeable as hoped, but tasted good. Children’s menu had good choice and reasonably priced. A nice pub for a casual meal out.
