Best Italian Restaurants in Belle Meade

My girlfriend and I had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at Nonna’s, and it was truly a memorable experience. We started with the salmon croquettes, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—such a delicious start! The complimentary olive oil with spices and fresh bread was a nice touch and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We both enjoyed the insalata salad, which was light and refreshing with the perfect balance of flavors. The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh, flavorful seafood in a rich and savory sauce that left us both raving. The chicken parm was also fantastic, with a perfectly crispy coating and juicy chicken, topped with melted cheese and marinara sauce. For dessert, we had the chocolate ganache cake, and it was absolutely divine—decadent and rich, it was the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal. Our server, Olivia, made the evening even more special. She was attentive, sweet, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the night. The manager was also extremely attentive and kind! What a wonderful establishment! If you’re looking for great Italian food with an inviting atmosphere and excellent service, Nonna’s is the place to go!

Excellent service (We had Gabriel) outstanding food. Always creative. Very small place but I prefer that over loud, noisy open kitchen restaurants. Perfect place for V Day dinner. We need to dine here more often!

This restaurant is outstanding. The atmosphere, the food, the service, all absolutely top-tier. It’s a very romantic spot for a date night, and my husband and I will most definitely return to Giordi!

Very nice family run business. They definitely care about what they are doing. Everything was good.

Late lunch, Excellent Broccoli rabe w/sausage to start. Then onto linguini & white clam sauce and hubby had rigatoni arrabriatta. Both entrees were prepared to perfection. Delicious, plenty of fresh tender clams. Rigatoni had generous sausage in it as well. Our waiter John was excellent! A nice bottle of La Volte to compliment our meals. Don’t miss this place. You won’t be disappointed!
