BARCOA Agaveria is a basement bar that celebrates the spirits of Mexico. Serving imaginative craft cocktails and a vast list of agave spirits, BARCOA is often described as "vibey," "sexy," and "the time of my life" (says some dude from Mesa). Agave spirits such as tequila, mezcal, bacanora, raicilla, and sotol, are the stars here, available as flights, neat pours, or however you like.Reservations are only available for the basement bar.     Food and service was great. Highly recommend the Copperstate steaks and shishito peppers. Drinks were delicious! It’s a very busy place. Get reservations days in advance. We could only get bar seating which was still great but crowded like most bars in any restaurant. We will visit again and make sure to reserve a table upstairs in advance.

    Our visit was great! My wife wanted a Panna cotta but they didn't have it however we were comped a delicious smores brownie! Our server was attentive and good sense of humor! Thank you for making this a great valentines dinner!

    Bacanora lives up to the buzz——lively, yet intimate. Casual and effortlessly cool. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient waitstaff. Super background music that keeps the energy up but doesn’t drown conversation. And the food! We ordered elote, calabaza, and mole-crusted ribs with frijoles and cilantro salad. More than enough for the two of us, but we made room for flan. All delicious and different. And the cocktails! We had an old-fashioned-type and a classic martini-type, both with Mexican spirits. It’s worth the effort to score a reservation.

    General consensus from the party were outstanding. Appetizers were next level which included the bone marrow, bluefin tartare and the king crab stuff oysters. It really set the tone for the rest of the mains. Service was great from the staff and kept the tables clear and drinks full. The only exception to the meal was some of the mains. Over cooked and undercooked steaks that appeared to have been sitting for some time. Coming from a place where we have world class steak, the inconstancy we experienced was disappointing given the prices charged and what precluded this portion of the meal which many raves about. Overall pleasure and happy to recommend.
