Best Seafood Restaurants in North York / Don Mills

I hate giving such perfect scores because it may mean its going to be tougher to get seats on the weekend. The servers are good and the kitchen is more than competent on their prep work. The NY Peppercorn, Shrimps and dessert are delectable and succulent. Their dark & stormy takes a nice twist with Dark and stormy as the foamy kind. Recommend 2oz version. I think the only thing that could improve the ambience is if the Keg also accepted Bitcoin. Not that grift meme coin stuff. Bitcoin.

The food was well cooked and the turnaround time was great. Above all, our server, Cody, made this experience unforgettable, and I see myself coming back again in the near future! Great food. Great service.

Been to the The Keg many times but this experience was one of the best. Right from the start, as we were waiting for our table, the host came up to us to acknowledge that I had requested a quiet booth in my OpenTable reservation; he arranged for a better booth than we would've had originally - so this was a fabulous start to a great evening at The Keg. Our server, Chris, was GREAT. He said right away that it was very busy and apologized for any delay, but most importantly, he was very quick to bring us a bunch of paper cocktail napkins that I asked for right away - it's the little things like that that can really make a difference. Our steaks were perfect and, again, Chris quickly responded to my request for extra whiskey peppercorn sauce and horseradish. We were celebrating a birthday plus Valentine's Day so Chris brought a large portion of Billy Miner Pie, on the house(!) So because of the host and Chris, we will definitely be coming back!

Overall the experience was great. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and most of the staff were fantastic polite, professional, and even had a great sense of humor, which made the evening enjoyable. Unfortunately, one server’s behavior negatively impacted our experience. From the beginning, she seemed dismissive, frequently responding to our requests with “huh?” or “what?” sometimes making us repeat ourselves unnecessarily. While this could have been due to noise, it didn’t happen consistently, making it feel intentional, as though she was mocking my friend’s English. I may be wrong. The real issue, however, was her unprofessional attitude. At one point, she openly mimicked my friend just a few steps away from us, which was completely inappropriate. When she didn’t receive a tip, instead of reflecting on her service, she confronted us, sarcastically asking if there was a problem and even offering to bring the manager so we could "file a complaint." Tipping is based on service quality, and while the rest of the staff was excellent, her attitude made it impossible to justify leaving one. Despite this, we had a wonderful time thanks to the great food and the exceptional service from the other staff members. I hope management addresses such behavior to maintain the restaurant’s otherwise excellent reputation.

Best fish & chips I've ever had! Service was appropriately attentive. What I was shocked to find out is that I was charged SO MUCH for a requested birthday acknowledgement!!! $16.95 for a small piece of dry, mediocre tasting chocolate torte. Had I known I was going to be charged SO MUCH, I would've at the very least, liked to be able to choose my dessert; sticky toffee pudding perhaps? For the money you made by me choosing to celebrate my sister's birthday at your restaurant, a complimentary birthday treat would've left a much better taste in my mouth and consider coming back another time.
