The spicy tuna hand roll was absolutely outstanding, with perfectly seasoned rice that complemented the delicate, buttery fish. The nigiri was excellent as well, the presentation and friendliness of staff made the experience even better. Beyond the sushi, the atmosphere was live and inviting. The service was attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear this place takes pride in every detail, from the sourcing of ingredients to the delivery of the food. If you’re a sushi lover, this spot is an absolute must visit. It is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared!

Our food was amazing as always! Our server Sean was outstanding! He was fast knowledgeable and took great care of us. The steak and salmon melted in your mouth. The teriyaki chicken and spare ribs were cooked perfectly. A must-have is the gyozas and tatsuta age chicken appetizer. They are a classic and some of the best things to eat there. We have been coming to Kyoto since the early 90s, and it was amazing then, and still amazing now...

Eddy was a great cook and very nice and energetic for me and my family’s first time we’d definitely go back and recommend to friends and family!

We loved our valentine's menu and the wine pairing was fantastic. The wine pairing was a great deal. Our server Derek (??) was amazing. The whole thing was perfect!!! Incredible homemade pickled ginger, homemade wasabi (so different) and barrel aged soy sauce. Nice touches!!

We love this place and we come back every year. The food is delicious and the servers are friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
