Had drinks at the bar before being seated and the bartenders were great! Counter dining service was fun, getting to watch all the food be prepped and expo’d made for good conversation. The sushi we had was amazing, especially loved the fatty tuna sashimi served with fresh ground rock salt! The mushroom hot pot was also one of my favorites! Our bartender Justin was on point and even stopped by to check on us during dinner. Our server, Fiona was knowledgeable, super friendly, fun and took great care of us. The manager stopped by to check on us a couple of times which we appreciated. We shared the Yellowtail sashimi, and the hand rolled spicy salmon. Both were excellent. For dinner we started with the spicy tuna, followed by several sides - the short rib fried rice which everyone highly recommended and seemed to love, we found a bit boring compared to the rest of the dishes. The Roasted Mushrooms were out of this world delicious, and the Gochujang Brussel sprouts were equally impressive. The servers were attentive and very kind. The restaurant was clean and not loud at all. He was very knowledgeable about the food we were trying & we loved learning about all the fish he would serve us. All the chefs were kind & easy to talk to. We loved the vibes. & of course the food & cocktails were EXCELLENT.
