Live music was amazing! They played everything you wanted to hear! Great food! The place is always decorated nicely.

Our service was impeccable, the food was delicious. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the OpenTable app asked was there a occasion for the dinner and I selected birthday, it was my only daughter's birthday. I was asked by a couple of people who were with us if I told them that it was her birthday and I told them I was giving the chance to selecte a occasion and did. I wish I had said something because there was no mention of it. Don't ask if you don't care.

Great food. Like the small plates. Good service. Great singer last night. Preston something. A little disappointed that pretty much no one clapped whenever he finished the song.

I’ve been to the Watertown location and this one in Boston has a more eclectic vibe, loved it! The food is on point just like Watertown. There were certain nuances of the menu that were kind of weird like buttermilk fried chicken, we couldn’t get sauce on the side it had to be on top and a few other silly things but we made it work. The prices are very good and to give you a basic business meal idea (with the 20% gratuity-included for a group of six)with five appetizers, six entrées, and 10 alcoholic beverages. The bill was slightly over $400. There wasn’t a hungry belly when we left and had some to take home with us as well. The portion sizes for the appetizers are all shareable. Do your taste buds a favor and visit either or location, you will not be disappointed! To be honest, I usually take pictures to share with others, but the food was so good and devoured so fast there was no time, lol!

Upon walking in I was greeted right away. I arrived at 18:31 for and 18:30 reservation. I gave my name and staff was friendly and helpful. My table wasn’t ready and I had to wait for them to move two people to the bar and then clean the table. It seems as though the host may have been newer and a man named Levi came to help him. Once we sat we were greeted right away by Dajah. She was attentive from when we sat until we left. She was knowledgeable and you can tell she really enjoyed her job. I’m actually adding her name to my reservation when I go back. Now to the food. I had the catfish nuggets, Lobstah Mac n’ cheese, collards, and yams. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I’m picky and I will drag a whole organization if it’s not good 😂😂😂. Everything was delicious and amazing. I went with my lil sis and I will definitely be bringing my husband, family and whole crew with me and going back. I highly recommend this The Mix. I can’t say it enough…the food is good unlike some other high priced restaurants where you have to pay for parking AND eat TRASH food. Well done ya’ll see you soon!
