Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Riverside

We love La Parra, since it opened we have made it a tradition to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The short rib hummus and the truffled salmon were unreal. Harissa Bloody Mary was very good. The Brussels sprouts and the steak and eggs were tasty but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant is so beautiful which really add to the experience. The patio being open in the winter is great, but it could’ve used an extra heater or two in the corners. Overall I am excited to go back and try more things.

Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day 2025 dinner at Prasino. The snowy Chicago weather meant it wasn’t overly crowded, making for a cozy and intimate experience. The ambiance was excellent, and while the entrée selection was somewhat limited, every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. Service was attentive and professional. Highly recommend for a date night or a business dinner!

Great food and very good service. While other reviews said that the prices were high, we found them reasonable based on the serving sizes. We had dinner for two nights. The alcohol pours could be a little more substantial but we were there for the authentic Greek experience. We will continue to make Mana our go to for Greek food.

Citrine Cafe has become our favorite Oak Park neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food, outstanding service, and an unusual, inventive wine list. Always a treat, whether we come for a special occasion or just a weeknight nosh.
