   It is unfortunate that I have to write this review. We have been dining at this restaurant for years during the holidays when we visit Islamorada. Every year we look forward to the escargot's appetizer and typically order one per person as we loved it so much. Unfortunately, this time the dish was not at all what we expected. The pastry was soggy, tasted burnt, not much sauce inside. The steak was overly cooked even though we requested medium temperature. The scallop pasta tasted old and dry. Overall the food looked and tasted terrible. The only positive about our visit was the server. He was very nice, tried his best to be accommodating given the circumstances. We will definitely not come back.

   Great service, solid menu wine and bit pricey… Please tell the chef that truffle oil has no truffles and it is a bunch of chemicals that ruin food so don’t order it! Great view, and our food was excellent

   i hate writing a bad review but honestly this needs to be told.. we found this place through an instagram post show casing an absolutely beautiful tomahawk steak.. so we figured next keys trip let’s go.. the property is beautiful. parking is free. safe. tiki torches everywhere. beautiful… we walk inside for our reservation we were immediately seated. the staircase is beautiful.. decor is beautiful. great property.. it took 20 minutes for someone to even come say hello…. upon saying hello, our waitress seemed lost.. not busy or scattered lost just almost like, what am i doing lost. we asked for bread when we ordered drinks.. had to ask her about the specials she named off one couldn’t remember most of the details which is fine.. and then stated nothing else. our drinks finally came.. forgot our bottled water which we paid for but was NEVER left at the table for us… and never was refilled again.. the menu was a little bland.. we ordered the soup, a burrata salad, steaks….. and we never saw our waitress again until 15 minutes after our food dropped.. (no steak knives, no soup spoons, no bread) we had to ask other servers for these items and felt bad.. she finally came back to our table and we just said we will take our check please.. and she says oh let me get you more water. we said no thank just our bill. also there’s a manager who was just wandering around the restaurant who never once even approached tables to ask anyone how they are doing she kind of just glares and wanders off.. this restaurant has potential but the staff is just NOT it at all and to conclude to food was extremely mid range.. and no tomahawk that was all over instagram. we can make an excuse for food with good service & will any time but you can’t MESS UP both.

   We love Pierre’s. Longtime customers. After hurricanes and ownership changes. This new team is on point. Lots of employees so they’re not overworked. They handled the crowds well. The food on point. The bartenders were excellent inspire of it being that day. Sabi couldn’t have handled it better. The host team was kind courteous and talkative. Not stuffy. We did ask for outdoor seating in our reservation. Inspire if empty tables we were seated inside. It was noisy ! Lots of families and groups. But how fun is that! We reached for outside on the first come first serve basis and were reseated. We were taking a vaca as empty nesters with kids and grands living with us at home and it’s fun but we just wanted to be us two so the balcony was perfect. Skyler our server was a delight. Kind courteous and excellent service. Do not hesitate to come to Pierre’s weather with kiddos or without because the food is wonderful. The views 5* amazing and the service perfect.

   We have been eating in this restaurant since over years, and the quality and customer service is going down each time... We booked an outside table and they give us an inside table, while outside were 7 table empty and 4 of them stays empty until closing... The food choices are very limited and the quality pretty bad, the attention of customer was bad and so on... Sparking Water ordered was room temperature for everyone and they only offer to add ice "really".. Tuna tartara was pretty bed as well of the snapper... Busser broken my water glass and never replaced it or give me more water, I've to stand and take another glass from another table as well of the fork... Really sad experience considering the beautiful location

   Substituting Yellowfin Snapper for Red isn’t the same , specially at $51.00. Also never paid 8.00 for water at the table. Even at the Ritz Carlton, or any Country Club. Very high prices. The food and service were good.

    Not worth the money - numerous gaps in service - requested outdoor seating for special occasion and was told not available when there were open tables - when said we would happily wait until one opens - a table was miraculously available - asked for 3 bottles of wine and none were avail… ordered appetizer and came back and said not avail… asked for sparkling water got tap… had to ask for bread 3x… the food was tasty but for a $250+ evening out I expected better - go to chef michael’s across the street - exceptional
