Pizza East - Portobello is spread over two floors of a restored Georgian pub, right in the middle of the bustling Portobello market area and includes a deli trading in ingredients such as polenta, fave beans and risotto rice, as well as Italian cured meats and cheeses.
Just like our big brother in Shoreditch, while we take our pizza seriously the setting is very relaxed. We’ve stripped the building’s interior back and created a light and airy space with wooden floors and huge windows, then filled it with beautiful vintage cafe furniture. The in-house wood-fired ovens and open ground floor kitchen mean there are great views to be had inside, especially from the antique stools at the counter, or you can sit outside and watch the world go by.
Our upstairs dining room is an even more laid-back sitting room, as is our terrace, a little green haven away from the hustle of town, where you can have drinks or dinner.
