We are a permanent pop-up restaurant operating with semi-permanent kitchen rotations, set in the heart of East Dulwich.

Local girl, Chloe Gounder-Forbes, has built a platform for up and coming chefs to devise and lay out their own menus along with establishing a name for themselves. We now welcome Kaizen Kitchen form 10th Nov 2016 - 28th Jan 2017. This is "East meats West" cooking!

Devoted to growing, our micro-herb and veg garden is maintained on a grow-to-order basis from our kitchen and bar. We are currently planting now! As the walls say ‘Please Don't Ash In The Garnish’! Our team is also highly committed to supporting the underdogs; great and deep thought has gone into the wine list focusing mainly on rare, forgotten and indigenous grape varieties. Keeping in the theme of rotation, expect our drinks menu to rotate as well!

Fantastic, personal service & great atmosphere. Staff obviously very passionate about what they do. Food all well presented, some adventurous dishes - most of which worked but a couple a bit experimental! Overall brilliant evening.

I love Platform 1, the food is always amazing and the staff are wonderful. This is my favourite restaurant in London, the wine list is excellent, the only issue is that I always imbibe a bit too much but I have a fantastic time so can't complain!

Food was good and original. The wine list was expensive too quickly but the choices we had at the bottom were pleasing. The service was helpful and informed but very slow and the addition of 15% service to the bill in this part of South London is stupid. Overall it was a good night out but too expensive for what it was and too slow.

Had been recommended by a couple of people so we were really looking forward to trying it. I like the concept of having guest chefs in, and the set menu idea is great because you don't have to think too much! Tables packed together. Service was a bit slow but cocktails were worth the wait and wine list was interesting. Food would have been much better but it was basically cold. We mentioned it after the first course. But the main course that followed was cold too! Obviously a problem between chef and waiting staff? They didn't even seem that busy though? Not likely to bother to go again.

Really lovely staff and service. Accommodating for those with special diets - in a really genuine way that doesn't make you feel like you're asking for the earth. Delicious and healthy. Loved the creativity as well.
