Popei's has been around for 40 years! We are family-owned and operated and really care about our customers.

Popei's offers a wide variety of menu items, all proven to be the best. We won best seafood restaurant on Long Island by News 12! So, if it's the best crablegs, lobsters, calamari or shrimp you want, you just found your place. OH, that's right, we also have some of the best cuts of beef around, not to mention our award winning babyback ribs!

    A great place they treat you like family. They care about their customers, Joe comes out of the kitchen and asks people if they are enjoying themselves. Best lobster on long island

    Great food! We had the all you can eat crab legs for $74.99 per person and they were excellent! The service was wonderful too! We didn’t have to wait a minute before the shell bowl was removed and a new bunch of steaming crab legs were on the table. It’s obviously pricey but it was definitely worth it!

    Popei’s was very crowded when we arrived. We were still seated about 5 mins after our reservations. The front staff was apologetic although it was completely fine. The wait staff was very accommodating even with an extremely packed house. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The Thai calamari was an excellent app. I had stuffed eggplant which I never had before & loved it, bringing half home as the portion was so big. Friends had blackened fish, broiled fish & seafood and pasta. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and we are all looking forward to going back.

    It was BUSY as always!! Gabby was an excellent server! Jim, the owner, involved and present and soo helpful!! They ran out of Halibut, which makes sense, it’s an awesome dish! We substituted swordfish and red snapper and it was great! Maybe too much sauce, but it was an easy fix!! Always so nice, friendly and accomodating!!!
