   They changed everything, from menu to entertainment. It’s not the same as before. It’s a shame. It was a wonderful place and now it’s a boring restaurant with subpar food

   Beautiful restaurant with a nice view of the lagoon. Very helpful staff. Food all looks good when served but quality is not great, especially for the price. We were surprised that there was no fresh fish on the menu. It was all flash frozen and flown in. Drinks seemed to be watered down.

   Went on my last night in Cancun; which I had discovered it earlier. Definitely worth a visit. Food sublime, staff attentive, atmosphere energetic and very entertaining.

   We come to Mexico every year and have been going to Porfirios since it was opened. It's our favorite restaurant! Kid friendly, great food, service is always good and entertaining! Our recent trip to Cancun we spent three nights with Porfirios. Highly recommend and do not forget the churros for desert!

   I’ve never been to a restaurant that met our energy! This place resonated us on every level, a rare and impressive feat! 10/10 what a blast! And the sea bass was magical! Our waiter was great!

   The ambience is great, but the food is underwhelming. The guacamole was so oversalted that we barely touched it, and the tuna tostada was just okay. My barbacoa tacos arrived ice cold with stale tortillas. Also, why doesn’t guacamole come with enough tortilla chips? Having to ask for more feels unnecessary. For the price, the experience isn’t justified—it’s far too expensive. That said, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, the mariachi players don’t actually perform; they just strum along to pre-recorded music. Overall, this place feels more like a ‘fake it till you make it’ kind of spot

   Fantastic food and great service from Alex. Presentation of the food and energy level of the place are real highlights. Plan to go back while we are here.

    We enjoyed our dinner and the food was very good. It’s great they have a kids menu and also a kids club where they have activities and there’s someone that supervises them. Overall a great experience!
