Good food (except for the rubber band in my daughter’s broccoli.) The thing that sucks about this place is the lighting. It is so bright. Might be the brightest steakhouse on the west coast. Definitely the brightest one I’ve ever been to. The owners should visit some other steakhouses and other nice restaurants and take note of the ambience - the decoration and lighting. When customers pay this much for a meal they expect an experience. Some quick easy fixes in this place will likely fill more seats, as it should since the food is good.

Prime is a really good restaurant. We dined here while visiting Washington state. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We found the ambiance a bit too bright for a steakhouse. Could have turned the lights down a wee bit. The food was good. Started with the bruschetta and it was superb. We both had the wagyu special. The steak was well cooked and the chimichurri sauce was so delicious. The baked potato was velvety and so tasty and also the mashed garlic potatoes were excellent. The spiced carrots were a bit tough and leathery and not very “spiced”. They were also cold when delivered to the table and that was a bit of a bummer. We would recommend a different vegetable. Highly recommend the restaurant but maybe not so much for date night. It’s not romantic because it’s so bright but it’s a great place to go with friends!

Overhead lights are very bright and the table settings and overall ambiance are lacking for the price point they are offering. Small changes such as dimming the lights, table cloths and small tea-light candles would help a lot.

If scallops are on the menu, get them. Believe me, they were perfect. Prime is a great place for happy hour and dining room menu. Parking is free in their lot just give them your license plate number and you are set.

We had not been to Prime in a few years and invited a friend to join us. Overall, I have to rate Prime as fair. The menu had a good selection of choices - both for breakfast brunch and for lunch - and we ordered from both menus. The cocktail and wine were very good. We started with the deviled egg appetizer - a variety of five deviled eggs. The flavor was OK but seemed flat. I think they would have benefitted from some fresh herps, sea salt, garlic or other flavors. For example, the devilled egg made with basil could have used some fresh basil. The deviled egg with candied jalapeno could have used some heat. We split a Caesar salad that was really ordinary. I tried the clam chowder but returned it after the first taste. Eith the flour or the roue had not been cooked off and the predominant taste was of raw flour. One of us had the corned beef hash, again ordinary. Our friend had the country fried NY teak which he said was both good and an enormous portion. I had the 16-ounce ribeye and dauphinoise potatoes. THe potatoes were very good. The steak was tough, overdone, and not 16 ounces. Given the high price for the steak, I was very disappointed. Given our overall experience I know we will choose to spend our dining dollars elsewhere.

Better steakhouses for the money. Steaks were served less than med rare. Hardly any sear and cold; the pat of butter on top didn’t melt at all. Lots of tendon throughout. And this was their Prime cut selection.

The service was attentive and overall very good. Our appetizers were all very good. The main course was not very good. We ordered a trip of steak. One was cooked correctly (med rare request) the other 2 were not. The crab and asparagus presentation tasted metallic, the risotto on the third was crunchy and dry. The booths could use a refresh

We love Prime!! We usually have the same two people doing the serving and they are wonderful!! Service is excellent, food is excellent, music is fantastic and is always the perfect volume. You can hear the songs clear and perfectly but not loud at all. Love this place will always come back!!! So happy it is in my neighborhood!

My steak was under cooked and my baked potato was over cooked. Sent the steak back and they made it right. They even bought me a drink. They take care of their customers.
