   I had high expectations for this restaurant and unfortunately it fell short. The food was cheap Italian adjacent. There was nothing that felt authentically Italian to me. The wine "special" of $15 for a bottle instead of $9 for a glass was a rip off. My husband asked for a glass, declined the server's offer of a bottle but she brought it anyway. The chianti was undrinkable, but I guess for $15 what can one expect? The fried mozzarella was bland and gloopy. The bruschetta (which the server mispronounced with the "shh" instead of the "k" sound and was quite condescending when we pronounced it correctly) had onions in it - not traditional Italian and chunks of mozzarella. It was overly vinegary. The spaghetti marinara was cold. Overall, not a good meal. First and last time at this restaurant.

   We had a wonderful night out with our family of 10 with 4 kids last night. The food was absolutely delicious from appetizers through the desert. We were lucky enough to meet the chef who came to our table to drop some of our plates. Our amazing waiter Jeff was exceptional, from service to friendliness. Overall.. will definitely return, highly recommend. We all enjoyed the Nostalgic ambiance. ❤️

   I have been regularly eating at Buca for two decades, also placing a large family party every year The food is consistently good, but many of a miss the capuchino machine We have asked over & over again for close to two years & we are told it’s coming!!!!! Corporate please send a capuchino machine to Davie!!!! It’s such a nice way to end a meal PS great servers

    This was possibly the worst meal we ever had in FL. I ordered eggplant parmesan, and it was like shoe leather with burnt edges. I tried to cut off the edges but it was too tough. The manager kindly offered to take it to the kitchen and cut the edges off, but it was still tough. They must take thin pieces of eggplant, salt them to death, and place them in a pizza oven. My husband ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and that was cold. Again the manager took it back and reheated it and added more cream which made it even more bland. The chicken pieces had been refrigerated for a day or so after it was cooked and tasted old. We also ordered 2 glasses of Chianti - a 6 oz. and a 9 oz. The waitress brought over 2 - 6 oz glasses without telling us and explained that was all that was left in the bottle. The wine definitely tasted old and we both told her to take it away. And finally everything comes family style, so when I inquired about the eggplant not having a side of pasta, I was told that a side of pasta was $26 because it feeds 3 people. All I wanted was a side to go with the eggplant. When the bill came the waitress did deduct $13 and $18 (?) for the 9oz glass of wine which was fine. We did leave a 20% tip because the food was not the waitress’s fault.
