Even before you step inside, the wooden porch brings to mind a typical Italian taverna, while painted murals depicting scenes from Italy adorn the interior. Expect nothing less than classic Italian cooking and charming service. Homemade bread, fresh seafood, handmade pasta and, of course, stone-baked pizzas feature on the menu. The open-plan kitchen at the back of the restaurant is in full view of diners, so you can watch your meal being rustled up. Among the most impressive dishes are the medallions of veal in a mushroom, white wine and cream sauce and the pan-fried fillet of sea bass with onions, king prawns and tarragon. The pizza is also attention-worthy. For dessert, the tiramisu and chocolate fondant are superb. Whatever you choose, rest assured your dish has been prepared with care.
