Purdey & Steed
200 Standing
100 Seated
Named after John Steed and his sidekick, Purdey from The New Avengers, each room seats 50 people theatre-style, 40 for dinner or 75 for a cocktail reception, but they also interconnect to provide a large, versatile space for corporate and social entertaining. The rooms are in great demand for cocktail receptions and parties.
Solo
25 Standing
16 Seated
Named after Napoleon Solo, one of The Men from U.N.C.L.E., the smallest of our five rooms (but still a generous 37 square metres/398 square feet) seats up to 8 people around a hand-made table, the top of which ‘flips’ to turn into a three-quarter size billiards table – hence the cues lined up along one wall.
Peel
16 Seated
We hope that glamorous Emma Peel from The Avengers would approve of this room, with its memorable wall of silver birch tree trunks and a beautiful bespoke chandelier. Measuring 37 square metres (400 square feet), it seats up to 12 people for lunch and dinner, board meetings and presentations.
Kuryakin
20 Seated
The ‘red room’ has a stunning scarlet, lacquered table as its focal point, with a dramatic circular chandelier above it and red leather chairs around – hence we named it after Illya Kuryakin, the Russian Man from U.N.C.L.E. It measures an exceptionally generous 45 square metres (484 square feet) and seats up to 12.
