   Great place w great service. Only problem was we had a 6:30 reservation, and the kitchen closed at 7. Dinner was a little rushed.

   Personally we did not appreciate the price fix menu the day after Valentine’s Day but since we had to guarantee the reservation with a deposit - I was not going to leave. Some of the food was good and some tasted like banquet food. The appetizers and salads were very good. Lobster bisque was a bit stale. The steak was perfectly cooked and good quality but the twice baked potatoes also tasted like yesterday’s potato. The stuffed pork chop was barely edible. The filing was great but the pork chop was basically rare. Overall the food was good and the service was great but I did not feel like I got what I for at this price point.

   The ambience is dignified and historic and the building is in a beautiful park setting. The stone walls and heavy beams in the ceiling hark back to the past. The food is always wonderful there and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is elegant but casual. It's one of my favorite restaurants and they serve a terrific cosmo!

   First time being here. I definitely would recommend, food was great, service was even better. 10/10 will be going back this spring.

   Portion sizes were extremely underwhelming and the food was actually horrible. I’ll never be coming back. The lobster bisque had 0 lobster in it and was watered down. The shrimp cake was 2 bites worth, the surf & turf was a horrible cut of steak and burnt shrimp. I don’t think I’ve had a worse experience nearly ever in terms of quality and taste and preparation. Horrendous.

   Our whole evening was terrific. The valentines menu was perfect for the dinner. The appatizers were good. Then came our soup or salad. The main course I picked surf ad turf. My steak was perfectly cooked as were the shrimp. Loved the mashed potatoes too.Dessert was a cheesecake or decedent chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious. We will be back soon. Our server was always stopping by the table to see if we needed anything.

   Was Valentines day and too my wife, her widowed sister, and her friend. The Landing did a set menu for the special day. Shared app, soup or salad, your choice of steak or sword fish, and a shared dessert per couple. Overall the food was very good. Having live near Lockport and attending HS there I am always interested in the old structures. The atmosphere of the old historic building and great food made for a wonderful experience. My only 2 criticism would be the price of drinks are on the high side and would like to have had 2 apps.

   Our waiter was very slow. The shrimp cake was good, but we only got one to share. The lobster bisque was more like a cheese soup. There was no lobster in it. The fillet was decent and the moose that we picked came in a small wine glass for two people to share, which was pretty sad. We were put in the back room, so the ambience was more of just for walls with a bunch of tables in them, it was not what we signed up for we were hoping to sit in the main room.

    We went for Valentine’s Day. Ordered a medium well steak and it was beyond well done - very tough and chewy. My husband’s steak was cold when it arrived. The ambiance in the main dining room was great, but we were not seated there. Instead, we were put in a room off the side that might as well have been in a banquet hall. The waitstaff cleared our utensils and forgot to bring new utensils not once, but twice. Overall, it was ok, but not worth the $135 price tag. I have been to fine dining establishments, this isn’t it.
