Queen Mary Tea Room has been providing tea service and fine dining to Seattle and its visitors for 34 years. Our Afternoon Tea with the cranberry orange scones and crumpets to the mint cucumber tea sandwiches, and the silver teapots of Queen Mary's finest teas with the fine English bone china teacups, it's a tradition many generations have experienced.

Our Brunch and Lunch menus are also quite delicious with homemade quiches and soups that will bring you back again and again.

I’ve come to Queen Mary’s many times over the years and it is without question a really special place. The ambiance for a special time with a young granddaughter is magical. This is what the high cost in my opinion is going towards. The food though was disappointing. We did the children’s and adult afternoon tea. The two quiche bites for the two adults seemed a quarter size and the other bites were tasty but such an unsatisfying quantity and variety. The soup was ok. Next time, and most likely there will be a next time because where else can you go in Seattle to have the holiday ambience like QM’s in a small business., I’ll opt for an entree from the menu.

There needs to be more tea rooms like Queen Mary over on the Eastside! Us 3 ladies enjoyed our time, sipping tea, admiring the beautiful decor, and delighting in every bite of the beautifully presented morsels. The gluten free afternoon tea didn’t taste gluten free. I appreciated how the bread for the tea sandwiches was moist and not mushy at all. Our server was cheerful and helpful. We didn’t feel rushed and had a great time looking at all the tea related items in the emporium. Thank you for a great experience.

This is a favorite holiday celebration place. Food and service very good. Only shortfall is how crowded the table placements — need more space between tables and chairs.

This is my second time doing a fun afternoon tea service. I really enjoyed it the first time however this visit the wait staff seemed a bit unenthusiastic, like they were reading from a script and not really very engaging and felt forced. I gave the waitress dietary restrictions and she left and came back then asked us if there were any dietary restrictions as if we hadn’t just had that conversation. The staff who brought tea sampling around was much more engaging. My last experience was much better and Queen Mary herself checked in on us, so I will still return and hope this was a one-off. Food and tea was great as always!

Christmas at Queen Mary's Tea room followed by shopping at their Emporium across the street is an absolute must. Delicious and so joyful!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience today. The service was excellent. One little gal was a bit harried initially, but not rude. I'm sure it was due to the busy nature of it being a Saturday. The tea room was so festively decorated for the Christmas season. Our tea and lunch was delicious! I had the smoked salmon quiche with fresh fruit and green salad, and she had the curry beef pasties with soup and fresh fruit. We loved it last year, so repeated our selections this year. We also ordered the orange cranberry scones with cream and they were awesome as well. I have been to Queen Mary's several times over the years, and this was our 2nd annual holiday visit...it has now become tradition! It is well worth the trip, but be prepared for the expense.

This is a fantastic tea room, always well-decorated, but casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and an amazing selection of teas. I highly recommend it.

Third visit here. Each time a little less enamored with this tea house. Arrived 15 minutes early- they were very crowded. Came back 10 minutes later, waited a few minutes to be checked in and was told that the previous party was still at the table. By the time we got seated, it was 15 minutes into our reservation time. Were offered a complimentary champagne, which was declined as alcohol triggers my migraines. Seating was tight- felt wedged in between two parties of larger sizes and it was pretty noisy- not in a cheery, festive, holiday way. Was expecting a lot more as this is their Christmas themed afternoon tea.... but not much had changed- except flavors of the sorbet, the soup flavor and the treats. Overall, left feeling hungry and disappointed with this afternoon tea experience.
