   Perfect setting and perfect service! It’s the ultimate upscale waterfront dining experience. And the bonus of being in Gloucester - a real working seaport town - makes it even more special. The food was very good and when I come back we’ll try the raw bar, which looks outstanding as well.

   1606 Brunch is very good. We ordered off the menu though will try the buffet next time - s3olid options for $24 per person. Harbor views from the dining room can't be beat!

   We continue to go each year to celebrate a friend's birthday. Never dissappoints, always excellent service and food. This last celebration was exceptional and enjoyed by all.

   Great service. Food items were hit and miss. The crab cake was fantastic. Lobster bisque was oddly seasoned and oversweet. Fish and chips- the haddock was flavorless and the accompanying aioli was just plainqq odd. But the chips were perfect- hot and crisp. Rigatoni bolognese very good. Strawberry rhubarb cobbler was delicious, but would certainly benefit from a bit more filling. Overpriced for the quality but to be expected at boutique hotel. I would certainly try it out again, especially since the service was impeccable.

   Always love coming here as it's overlooking the ocean and just a wonderful vibe. We went on a Sunday for brunch - We ordered the oysters to start ( from Maine and RI) bother were very food. We prefer the smaller to medium sizes. We then ordered a few apps to share- Mussels, Lobster Bisque, Clam Chowder, Clams, and the chicken and waffles. The soups were very good! Lobster Bisque was my favorite. This was the second time getting the mussels, the first time was excellent and this time it was just OK- we had a few bad ones in the mix which just threw us off. The clams were amazing- market price was $34 - a tad small for the price but not fishy or chewy so it was worth it. Chicken and waffles were also a hit at the table. Overall the food was good but not perfect! The service here is always great - no complaints. We had to move our table due to the wind outside and the manager was very kind as I know its such a hassle when people ask to move.
