The food was very good. The staff is the key to this restaurant. They are amazing and friendly from the moment you check in. The view from deck is fabulous. I asked for a change from a menu item and it was granted without hesitation.

Hospitality and professionalism here are truly impeccable — from front of house to our service by Keith, tonight did not disappoint. The dishes always seem perfectly executed down to every detail — from fresh catch to the favorite curried lamb shank…even the pepperoni pizza for the youngest in our group was agreed to be a 10 when sampled by the rest of us. Solid as a rock every time, which keeps us coming back. Thank you for another memorable evening on Eleuthera.

1648 is always a highlight and the place we spend our last full night on the island. Our 7th dinner here! Every menu item has surpassed my expectations and their team is the best. Kelly and Zerot have always made our experience special. We can't wait for next year. Thanks for the memories!

The setting over looking the water and sunset can’t be beat. The live music was a nice addition. Service was extremely slow and food just ok. They seemed understaffed although our wait staff was doing the best they could

Ambience was great, allowing conversation with the table. Meal was perfect, thanks to the chef. Special thanks to Keith, our main server. We appreciated the greeting and hospitality of the entire team. Not our first time, definitely not out last!!

The view was amazing, gorgeous sunset. Ourserver was extremely kind, but service was slow. Suggest you ask for “house water” as a bottle of still is $12. Burger was ok, but too tall to actually take a bite of.

We have been a patron for the past 4 years. Up until this year, the food was fairly good. This year was quite different. We are reevaluating going there as the food quality has markedly gone down. We had pasta dishes which were horrible, drowning in sauce, with little to no ingredients that were listed on the menu. We were given a margarita pizza as a comp. which tasted out of a box. It’s a shame as we loved going here. Maybe consider alternatives in Eleuthera.
