I attended brunch at 1799 on Sunday, November 17th with friends. I had heard how wonderful an atmosphere it was in addition to tasty food. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food and it put a damper on my experience. Our reservation was for 1:15 p.m., which was almost two hours before the end of brunch. The dessert table was VERY sparse, much of the food was warm --not hot-- with the exception of the mac n cheese and cheese grits which were hot due to their density. The saving grace was the live music. Their selections were of my age bracket, so i very much enjoyed it. I am not likely to offer or attend brunch at 1799 again. I

The staff was amazing and the prime rib was the best I've ever had. We will eat here every single time we are in town. Hands down the all around greatest dinner from start to finish!

Audrey was great, and she made our night so pleasurable. Our food was excellent… From the red snapper to the filet … Perfectly cooked!! It’s a beautiful, and comfortable restaurant, but it was very noisy with a few larger parties.. There’s not a lot that management can do when people are celebrating. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic dinner at 1799 Prime! The atmosphere was upscale yet cozy, and the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. We started with crab avocado tower, which was flavorful and beautifully presented. I had the scallops with risotto cooked to perfection, and the sides were delicious. The wine recommendation was spot-on, and we ended with cheesecake a perfect finish to the meal. Highly recommend 1799 Prime for a memorable dining experience in Alexandria!

I've had better experiences for brunch. The food was of good quality. The music was lack luster it's been better. changing the omelet station to the kitchen is more efficient but our omelet order was wrong a couple of times.
