   I booked here on open table and received a call about in hour or two later that my booking was not valid because their dining room was fully booked (it was open at my booking time therefore must have been something done over the phone vs app). They offered a high top at the bar- I accepted it as it was promised to have same high level of service. What happened is that we were one of the 4 tables the bartender had to serve in addition to counter folks. So, nothing to her detriment because on these conditions she did well - but the service was not the same as the main floor. Food and drinks were good. I had the lobster and highly recommend the sauce on the side, the carrots were amazing and so was the potato au gratin. Other had the lamb and were very pleased. I’ll try to go back for more when menu gets updates for spring!

   You have my name incorrect on this site. I don't know how but my name is Rhonda Gonzales. Ambiance was great. The servers were pleasant and professional. The food was awesome. I don't mind paying a little more when it all comes together.

   Amazing meal to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful and feels like a very nice but comfortable environment. Amazing transformation of the building! And a great addition to the Midlothian area! Stella was extremely personable and helpful with her suggestions. The steaks were excellent, as were the Buratta appetizer and all sides. Excellent meal - but a pricey one (as any classy steakhouse would be) Also enjoyed the special Cab Franc bottled for the restaurant - excellent pairing! We look forward to returning to celebrate another special occasion!

   I made these reservations months in advance and they were HYPER important to me as it was not only Christmas Eve, but my 10th wedding anniversary. We arrived at 10 mins of 7 (our stated reservation time) and were not seated for 40 mins. We weren't alone as several other parties were likewise left cooling their heels at the bar which was to crowed to access a seat to get a drink and wait comfortably. i RECONNIZE OVER BOOKED WHEN I SEE IT, and that is your fault, not mine. Eventally we were seated within elbow distance of the table beside us and thankfully we jelled with our neighbors as every word of conversation was shared whether intended or not. Our waitress arrived with menus and dissappeared for 15 mins before returning to take our order. Our wine arrived 20 mins later and our salad didn't make it's debut until 40 mins after beinging given to the server. By now, if I heard our server say our food would be out any minute followed by the word "perfect" I would have gone postal! Luckily, our food did arrive in time to avoid my desire to just pay for what we had received and storm out and my wife tells me it was worth the wait. Ok! I calmed down, consumed the meal (which was esquitely prepared and why not, they had taken nearly 2 hours at this point with our order)! Obviously, my wife is a more patient person than I but when I'm paying in the vicinity of $200.00 for a dininning experience I appreciate far more than we got. We finished the evening with a very nice desert and a surprise glass of champaign for each of us. Bottom line, I will be returing to the Jefferson next year for the superior experience they provide.

   ✨ One of our favorite spots in Midlothian and quite possibly the best steakhouse in Richmond! 🥩🍷 The steaks are cooked to perfection, the sauces are divine, and the LOBSTER BISQUE—absolutely exquisite. Every bite is a testament to fresh, local ingredients and culinary excellence. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is the place. Highly recommend! 🌟

    My mom, sister, and I went for Christmas Eve. We sat at the upstairs bar. The food was absolutely exquisite - highly recommend the seasonal butternut squash soup and the 6oz filet was melt in your mouth perfection. The staff was attentive and kind. The atmosphere was ambient and fairly quiet. We will definitely be going back.
