Thank you James for the wonderful dining experience we had with you to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary.Thank you to Chef for the most amazing meal we have ever experienced. The king crab tart was so delicious! Now the steak, wow!! Mouth watering flavour, accompanied by perfect whipped potatoes, as well as the spaghetti squash.The 1888Chop house is a dining experience not to be missed.We will be back ! Well done !

Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The restaurant was not crowded on a Thursday evening so the noise level was perfect.

Had an amazing meal with our group. Everything was very happy with their meal and the server, Corey from Tasmania, was incredible! Attentive, helpful and engaging. Will be back and would highly recommend it.

Appetizer plate was left on the table the duration of the meal even though server was by a few times. Steaks came out cold and mine was chewy and the fat not properly grilled. Service was lackluster. For the price it's not worth it. Will never return.

Food was less than exceptional especially considering the price. While my steak was really great my husbands steak was tough to even chew, full of gristle and sinew and the actual meat was very tough. While his steak was a lesser cut, when no piece of meat costs less than 75$ it all should be exceptional. I would suggest the vermillion room instead. Same sides for half the price. The service was excellent as the staff was very professional within the restaurant.
