Ate and drank at the bar. Bartender was awesome! Food was delicious! Good selection of local craft beer.

Not impressed. Nice aesthetics. Good location. Servers were responsive but served everything at once. Food was mediocre.

4th & P felt like a brand new place - we were the only diners, although there were a few people at the bar. But the cocktails were good, and the small-plates menu had several appealing choices. We had the not-mac-n-cheese, a small flatbread, and the korean wings. We would have preferred a little less cheese and sauce on the first two, but the flavors were good. Hope they get more diners - it was a lonely spot for a Friday night.

There wasn’t a hostess stand so we just kind of stood there until someone wasn’t too busy to ask us for our reservation and got us seated. Our waitress kept disappearing. But the restaurant atmosphere and the food were good.

We came with 2 groups of 8. Server was nice but just couldn’t seem to get his service level right. My drink was wrong twice but I didn’t send it back the second time because it took so long to get the server back to the table. The food was just ok. Not really impressed and would t recommend or visit again. Sorry - just not a good experience.

With so many great options in Nashville, I thought this one would be one of them. Boy, what a disappointment. 1) Walked in and had to go behind the bar to find the hostess "stand". The young female working it was engrossed in her phone so much so that we startled her -- no smile, no welcome, terrible way to enter a restaurant. Note: we had reservations so she should've been expecting people. 2) The thing we were most excited about on the menu, the chicken skin, was not available. We were informed by the waitress that the menu was being updated. Would've been nice for there to be a note on the menu. 3) The bacon that sounded amazing was really just glorified ham and nothing special at all. 4) The pimento cheese was good and the fish app was very good. 5) There was one waitress who insisted on adding a clearly contrived "love," "doll," or "dear" to the end of every interaction. She was at least 20 years my junior. Now, I'm from the south and appreciate genuine courtesy and deference; this did not fall into that category. We ate at The Mockingbird the night before and had a delightful experience all around. We were hoping for a repeat, but the 4th & Peabody experience was a big disappointment.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Seemed pretty empty. We waited about 2 minutes to be greeted. The hostess/server came over and sat us at a table letting us know another group had already sat there, but then got up and left before she took their order. She was clearly annoyed by that, but not our problem. When we requested new water glasses (not knowing if the other group had sipped from them) she hastily cleared them away, sighed loudly and didn’t say another word to us. She came back and happily took our order while what appeared to be the manager was in close proximity. I would have complained had she not changed her attitude, but I’m pretty sure her nice demeanor was only for her boss. The buffet seems rather simple, so we all ordered off the menu. Food took a while but it was very good. Overall, the food was fine, but I won’t be returning.
