64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

    Every time I am in Britain I try and eat here. Not only do they have great food but they also understand hospitality (which many restaurants don't!). I felt cosseted, and the staff are genuinely positive, friendly and knowledgable. I also loved the Domaine de Carlines - a Chard, Savagnin blend.

    Room is perfect - intimate and calm, but atmospheric with an open kitchen at the end and lighting is just right. Exceptional service from the door to the bill (and after) - attentive but not intrusive. Truly wonderful food, impressive without being intimidating. TIP - Order an hors d'ouvre soon after you sit rather than with your main food order. They're amazing and great to enjoy with an aperitif while you peruse the menu. Really everything we could want from a restaurant, very much want to go again. Not cheap, but London dining at this quality is never going to be.

    Great service - never intrusive but never far away. As the tables are small, your wine is kept off your table, meaning you are reliant on the waiter to refill your glass. I never had an empty glass. The food is high quality and the menu well considered. Prices are fair. Ambience is low key and cosy. A pleasant find just off Tottehnam Court Road.

    Lovely meal. We’ve been fans of Portland and Clipstone for a while, and finally got around to trying 64 Goodge Street as part of the same restaurant group. And it didn’t disappoint. Excellent food, good service and interesting drinks all in a lovely setting. It sits nicely between Clipstone and Portland on experience and price point.

    A perfect dining experience. The food was plate-lickingly good - the fallow deer was melt-in-the-mouth delicious, and the service was exceptional: intelligent, knowledgeable and charming. We felt totally at home and, in a city with a million restaurants to try, this is one we will come back to.

    Just a proper “grown-up” restaurant. No gimmicks. Just fabulous food, service that is attentive without being overwhelming and a great wine list. Perfect.

    Excellent food but dining room is a bit cramped. Good value for money overall. Wines were very expensive and a bit disappointing.

    A beautiful restaurant with knowledgeable and courteous staff. The food was superb with exquisite attention to detail. I think '64' has won itself two new fans – our friends loved it too.
