Offering elevated modern American cuisine by Chef Javier Lopez, 71Above boasts breathtaking ocean views from Malibu to Laguna Hills, along with spectacular views of Los Angeles and the surrounding mountain ranges. 71Above is a Michelin level experience featuring the finest ingredients, world-class wine list and craft cocktails. The Restaurant and Skylounge have a Smart Casual dress code. Jackets are not required however, no hats, athletic wear, shorts or flip-flops are allowed. Reservations are held for 15 minutes.

71Above features a 3 course Prix-Fixe menu for dinner only. We kindly ask all dining room guests to participate in the coursed menu. Please be aware, any seating requests are noted, but not guaranteed. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED. 18% service charge is added to all checks.

A culinary experience for the adventurous omnivore. Reserve one of two booths facing our open kitchen for a front row seat as our culinary team creates your custom five course menu. This immersive experience is not for the picky eater and is perfect for Angelinos, visitors, and celebratory occasions alike. Each booth can accommodate up to four guests and is right in front of all the kitchen action with the city views behind. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is distributed 100% to the hourly restaurant staff. Please note that while we attempt to accommodate most dietary restrictions, there are instances where we cannot meet every limitation including but not limited to, gluten free, dairy free and vegan diets.
3 Course Dinner with Hightop Bar Seating

High Top bar seating for our 3 course dinner menu. Please note this is a high table with high bar chairs for seating. These tables are in our bar area and can accommodate 8 to 14 guests. Reservations for cocktails only are unavailable at this time. Menu and prices subject to change. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is fully distributed to the hourly restaurant staff. A credit card is necessary to reserve the table but will not be charged unless the party late cancels or no shows. Business casual dress code required. No sports wear, flip flops, shorts or ball caps allowed.

What a gem! Awesome view of the city from virtually every seat. Service was impeccable and the Tara was very knowledgeable of the wines and most engaging. Menu was small but nice variety of options. Everyone loved the place.

The experience was amazing. Our server was excellent and the view is amazing. Honestly don’t have anything else to say besides this place really was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and they gave out complimentary sides. Outstanding ♡

Overall great experience. It was a bit confusing that day to find valet since they changed it that day due to construction. So we ended up parking in the self parking which was $18. You go through two elevators to reach the restaurant which is on the 71st floor. We had a reservation so we were seated promptly. Jordan gave us some knowledge about wines and some interesting info about older ones. While we were waiting, they gave us a complimentary dish to taste. It was a three course prix fixed menu to choose from. First course, I got the Crudo, but I think two pieces of my fish dish went a little sour/fishy cause it tasted off. However the rest of the pieces was delicious. The ribeye was delicious. And dessert did feel like another whole meal. Our server moved us to window once a table was empty during dessert for the birthday boy. Shout out to Jasmin. Overall on the pricey side since we got a bottle, but loved the views, atmosphere, and food.
