   Their first cooking with Chef Walters experience and by all metrics it was a resounding success. Walters is an engaging personality, who is clearly enthusiastic about his craft and restaurant. The 4 course meal he prepared was exceptional, from the dressed oysters to the crepe suzette..we chose to pair each course with wine and cocktails, perfectly matched. The bronzino was a masterpiece, perhaps the best preparation I've ever experienced. The pasta, with a bolonese and bechmel sauce left us clamoring for more. We've dined at 87 perhaps a dozen times, and have never been disappointed, even on "holidays " when many restaurants falter. If you haven't dined here yet, you are missing perhaps the best restaurant in North Jersey. They more than hold their own against the venues we've experienced in NY.

   great service and ambience! Totally enjoyed our dinner for 6, my duck l’oranfe was perfect. Pork chop was also amazing.

   Food amazing, appetizer portions a bit small. Design of restaurant looked like 80s Miami, I feel it would be much more successful if the design was more warm.

   Fantastic! Menu was beautifully diverse not an overwhelming amount of choices. We started with the bread a season butter, so delicious. We had the escargot wontons and Egg and Ox, both were bursts of flavor with each bite. The black garlic marmalade paired with the wontons were chef’s kiss. I had the short rib which was soft, tender, and nicely flavored. My partner has the pappardelle that was phenomenal. We finished with the passion fruit trifle for 2. I can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu. Kudos to the chef.
