   My husband and I were enchanted by the beautiful ambiance. Our waitress was super knowledgable about the menu and very helpful when it came time for us to order. The snapper Ceviche de Coco and Papaya Salad were amazing starters to our meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed our main dish the Enconcado del Mar. We can't wait to return!

   The food was 10/10, service was amazing my waitress was so sweet. Drinks 10/10, it’s soooo cute inside I will definitely be back.

   As a foodie, I judge my experience by how consistent the experience is and I can confirm that Aaktun is superb! Literally everything on the menu is wonderful. The staff is so kind, knowledgable and efficient. I highly recommend that you get there and have yourself a great time.

   Absolutely fantastic food and service. Cocktails were also delicious. Lovely atmosphere and aesthetic. Music was a bit bass heavy and louder than comfort for conversation. Will definitely return, perhaps the music is less clubby earlier in the evening (we dined at 8pm).

   Fantastic experience. Cat was our server; she was amazing. We sat in an Aaktun for our date, it was enchanting. Food was 5 stars, delicious.

   Nice ambiance. Food was good. Seems like there are some growing pains and the staff didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu items.

   Aaktun was fantastic! The food! The service! The ambience! Went there for Sunday brunch and had such a great meal. Very artful presentation, good food, and wonderful coffee! The bar is the place to sit to see and be seen. Imagine being in Tulum but in Durham…it felt that authentic!

    Wonderful space. Sat at the bar which was fun. Cocktails were creative and delicious. The coconut shrimp and pork belly dishes were great! Def add the bread as a side. And the DJ was on point with the Latin music. Would come back.
