   From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly and attentive. Our waitress was super helpful with recommendations and friendly. We order the TROPICAL SHRIMP & GRITS, L-BREAD AND BUTTER, TEMPURA FISH TACOS, and Goat Cheese Cheesecake and everything was delicious.

   First time and it was a great time. Our server Katrina explained the menu, provided excellent descriptions so it was easy for our group to decide what to get. She was very attentive and just the best attitude.

   A very cool vibe inside and the booths provided a great atmosphere for big groups. The drinks were fun and strong. The food was pretty good with a lot of great options.

   They have a time limit on their tables… not advertised… But after having been seated at 10 till six… Ordering $250 worth of food our party was figuring out our bill at the end because the server had charged the wrong parties… Apparently we took too long… Because as we were setting up our Ubers to come and get us… Our server came over and told us that we had to leave immediately because there was a time limit on the table… it was 7:45…I thought the food was great… I thought the service was great… But really this just left a really bad taste in my mouth for this place… There wasn’t a line… There was no one waiting for our table… And we were in the process of leaving and would’ve left sooner but for the server messing up our bill … I don’t think I’m gonna repeat this one… But I would just advise caution if anyone wants to check it out…

   What a fun evening! We just loved the overall vibe of Aaktun, just a wonderful and cozy atmosphere, but still fresh, with loads of plants! The wait staff was great, we loved Jazzy and she made us feel welcome and gave us a good overview of the menu for our first time visit. Food was fantastic and I Ioved my mocktail! I hear there is a great brunch, so we will definitely be back!
