   One of the best spots in Austin! The food is phenomenal, drinks are top notch, and the ambiance & dining experience is one of the best in Austin! We will forever love Aba!! Our favorites are the whipped feta appitizer and the chicken kebab skewers... always a 10/10!

   I feel like I've dined at a different restaurant to what the majority of reviews say! We were pretty disappointed in four of the six dishes we ordered over the evening. The potato's were dry, and lacked the rosemary and garlic flavour and the cauliflower had decent flavour but was underdone, I like al dente, but when you're having to saw with your knife just to cut it up there's a problem. The other two dishes that were a disappointment were the desserts, the Chocolate orange cremeaux was really heavy on the ginger, and the orange was missing. I expected a deep rich chocolate orange flavour but it tasted like a gingersnap with a hint of cocoa. And the chocolate chocolate cake was a thin slice of disappointment, it lacked rich chocolate flavour and tasted cheap. It's a real shame because the wine, service and atmosphere in the place are amazing. However the food, which is the main reason I eat out, was below average.

   I found the menu to be very extensive and appealing to all palettes. The server was very helpful to us when we were making our selections. A suggestion for the bar is to serve “dirty ice” along with the drink when a cocktail such as a martini or manhattan is ordered. This may be a regional thing and not found here but is expected in many other cities.

   We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and from the get go felt like we were taken care of. The hosts seemed sincere and cheerful wishing her a happy birthday, and that set the tone for the night feeling special. I’ve worked in service, and I know it’s not always easy to be festive on someone else’s behalf when tons of birthdays are celebrated every day, and the kindness of the staff stood out. Sandra took wonderful care of us, comped a dessert for the birthday and made sure we had everything we needed while giving us our time and space to enjoy the meal. We will be back!

   The waitress did not come back to check on us until the very end. She even questioned us when they tried to deliver an incorrect order to us. Everything else was great except for the service.

   It was a nice lunch with great appetizers like creamy feta dip and olives with veggies. The lamb and beef meatballs were pretty good, nice with crispy potatoes and brussell sprouts. It was about $170 for the three of us with drinks. So not a great value but enjoyable. Service was very good.

   Once we seated it was great, I have no upset with our table service. However, we were travelling over an hour to get to the restaurant as it’s one of our favourites in Austin that we take all our dear ones. It was for my aunty’s birthday. Unfortunately, we were stuck in traffic which meant we missed our time slot, I was trying to contact the restaurant for over an hour, the phone did not get answered- and actually disconnected with no chance for voicemail, no one replied to my message on the app or Instagram. Once I got there, I was told nothing could be done and it was not their problem I was late. Later when I put my phone number down, I received no text for the waitlist / confirmation- we had to go back 3 times to ensure that I was still on the waitlist, the third time over 1hour later they told us they tried to call and text multiple times on my number, which I never received and that we nearly missed our slot. She was not friendly or helpful at all. It was pretty stressful and an upsetting experience for my aunty and uncle who were visiting from out of country. It’s a shame, as previously if no inconvenience on our end we’ve had a wonderful time, but customer service from front desk was very poor.

   What a beautiful space with delicious food. This is a top tier restaurant with a great vibe. I highly recommend.

    My group of 3 had inside seating & trying to have a conversation & each of us had to ask to have the music turned down!! We were told no one working knew how to turn the music down….only manager. The staff had to wait for manager. That was a good 20 minutes
