Friendly staff - great manager Hussain who would help if possible whenever he could. Best Persian restaurant in London . . Babaganoosh excellent must try

We had a lovely evening at Abshar last Friday. The occasion was a get together and catch up with old friends. It was our first visit. The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was very helpful in explaining some details of the menu. We shared a starter and had a main course. None of us had room for a dessert. We liked the fact that we could have a conversation, as so many restaurants are so noisy you end up having to shout or lip-read. I will certainly revisit and would recommend it.

The food was excellent, this is the 3rd time I have visited this restaurant! I recommended it to my family who absolutely loved the food. The atmosphere was great and staff stay in the background until needed. The interior of the restaurant is very authentic and plenty to look at when you spend time in the restaurant. Also the prices are very reasonable.

The food was excellent but the service was a bit hit and miss. When I went to pay the waitress went to get the card machine but on the way back some regulars came it and she put the machine down and concentrated on them I had to get another waitress to retrieve the card machine.

Food did not disappoint again...very tasty, right amount of spices and freshly cooked. Service could be better with the staff being more attentive and quick to take orders

Went with work colleagues wiho have disparate food requirements. All found a wide selection of choice on menu. We really enjoyed the selection of food which was well cooked and presented well. Service was attentive without being obstrusive. A good spot on the Croydon strip

I loved the food and would definitely be back, the Service was okay could do with a little tweaking. I had mentioned it was my Birthday and no one acknowledged it...which disappointed me.

Had the combi meal for two and it was amazing. Chicken was so soft, lamb was juicy and their flat bread is excellent. Was really hard to chose what to eat as everything looked amazing. Will definitely return!
