   I must preface by saying that the service was impeccable. I sat at the bar and was well taken care of by their newest bartender. He made me a perfect decaf espresso martini and did an excellent job keeping watch over me while I dined. All the staff were friendly, helpful and kind, so good work on that. However the food was not great. I am Italian and therefore snobby when it comes to solid Italian dining. I went last year for DineOut and it was impeccable. I was severely disappointed today; the ceaser salad was the stand out with those buttery croutons and garlicky dressing, but the pizzas? Awful. The first one I ordered was a Pesto one and it came literally looking and tasting like tomato soup with Buratta on top. The woman next to me said she was hoping that it wasn't the pizza she ordered because mine looked so wet. My server helped me switch it out to the Luciano one and it was better but still bland. Legitimately tasted like plain tomato sauce with some cheese and meat on it. The crust still was slightly soggy too. It was better than the other, so I ate some but I doubt I would return at this point, which is a shame as again it's a good spot and the staff are fantastic. It was also expensive even for happy hour - $26 for a bland, damp pizza. I wouldn't recommend it and I'm sorry to say so.

   For a Michelin-rated restaurant, this was very disappointing. Ambience was nice and the sound level made conversation easy. Service was below-par. The food was very average (the veal cheek looked liked something I would make - unappetizing and overcooked, the mushroom pasta was bland, the cod tasted of nothing, the sorbet was uninspired). Despite being hungry, many of us didn't finish our meals. Only the wagyu carpaccio stood out, and that's probably because I was just starving. Overall, this is the classic example of something overpriced and under-performing. Nowhere near Michelin level. There are many better options for Italian fare in Vancouver.

   A nice dinner out with the dine out me menu. Great service! Food was very nice, my only negative is the portion size seemed small…not sure if because of dine out or if that’s standard. And IMO I’ve had better tiramisu.

   We ate during the Dine Out festival. The server was great. Gave great feedback and was very helpful. The cocktails and bottle of wine were lovely. The food was fine, but that’s all. It was fine. I get dine out is one thing, but I ate at another Dine Out place last weekend and the food was incredible, like knock you out of the park quality. I expected this food to compete. It didn’t. It was good though. No complaints, but I certainly was not blown away, and the dine out menu did not make me want to rush back. Great service and drinks though!

   We had a great experience: service, food and cocktails were great! Kayla was great, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice time.

    Got a thing we didn't order, but it was a delicious happy mistake. Would do again, and the energy coming from both the waitstaff and kitchen is brilliant.
