Hailing from Florence, Italy, Adelmo Banchetti started his career in the food and beverage world at the tender age of 16. His work took him all over the world from ships to hotels, and finally, Dallas, Texas , where he worked at the legendary Fairmont Hotel’s Pyramid Room, the Mansion On Turtle Creek, and the Crescent Court Hotel. In 1989, he and his wife Eliza, who hails from the Mediterranean region, opened Adelmo’s Ristorante to rave reviews. Their love of family, friends, good food and wines is reflected, to this day, at Adelmo’s. We feature cuisine inspired by the Italian/ Mediterranean region as well as the herbs, spices and grains indigenous to its shores. Made with the freshest ingredients. Now, the tradition continues with their children Andrew and Lauren on board . We continue to be family owned and operated and offer award winning wine selections and personalized service, all in a rare old world setting.

Adelmo’s is excellent in so many aspects. First the food: we had the mussels as an entree versus being offered as an appetizer. The tomato based sauce with the mussels was extraordinary! My husband ordered the pasta primavera which was very flavorful. We also ordered sides of spinach and a small serving of whole wheat pasta to go with the mussels. John was our server. You must ask for him if he is working on the night you go. He actually added to our wonderful experience at the restaurant. You can tell it is family run with daughter Lauren welcoming us to the restaurant. All staff is perfectly attentive without being intrusive. We will be back to enjoy many more dinners!

We always have lovely dinners at Adelmo’s. The food is consistently outstanding, the service couldn’t be better, and the ambience always makes for a warm and fun evening.

Thanks to Adelmo, Alissa, and Lauren Adelmo's is on top of the mountain in terms of must dining places in Dallas. The staff is one of high level professionalism and makes it a truly memorable experience.

As a family owned and operated business for the last 35 years, we strive to assure our guests' satisfaction in all aspects. If you didn't care for your dinners, we could have replaced them or taken them off the bill, but nothing was communicated to the server or owner who are always present.

Adelmo's is our go to place for Italian in Dallas. It is a wonderful date night place and family-owned and operated. You'll find Mom at the door directing you to your table, Daughter (Lauren) running your food plates out to your table, and Dad (Adelmo) ever present, making sure guests are enjoying their food and wine. If you are lucky enough to get John Lang as your server for the evening, you are in for a treat. He makes the entire dining experience all about you and brings years of professionalism in the industry. You can do no wrong with Adelmo's, we definitely need to come back more often!
