Hailing from Florence, Italy, Adelmo Banchetti started his career in the food and beverage world at the tender age of 16. His work took him all over the world from ships to hotels, and finally, Dallas, Texas , where he worked at the legendary Fairmont Hotel’s Pyramid Room, the Mansion On Turtle Creek, and the Crescent Court Hotel. In 1989, he and his wife Eliza, who hails from the Mediterranean region, opened Adelmo’s Ristorante to rave reviews. Their love of family, friends, good food and wines is reflected, to this day, at Adelmo’s. We feature cuisine inspired by the Italian/ Mediterranean region as well as the herbs, spices and grains indigenous to its shores. Made with the freshest ingredients. Now, the tradition continues with their children Andrew and Lauren on board . We continue to be family owned and operated and offer award winning wine selections and personalized service, all in a rare old world setting.

This is a hard review to write since the experience was subpar any previous visit. As usual the ambience and noise level was excellent. The service was good, but the waiter seemed to have too many tables to cover and they filled over a 10-15 minute period of time. Thus it took 10-15min to order wine and 30 min to order dinner. The real downside was the food. We both had pastas which were nicely cooked but tasteless. The linguine primavera needed seasoning. It was bland! The seafood stew with black pasta had a lot of seafood, all excellent choices, but the sauce was excessive and bland, and the ink pasta, which floated in the liquid, was as tasteless as the former. No seasoning could be detected! We left disappointed. Maybe a bad night?

Jefferey was an absolute pleasure and provided one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The food was incredible, the ambience was perfect, nothing but amazing things to say. Adelmo’s puts Carbone to sleep!!

Adelmo's is such a great dining experience. Love the warm greeting and extra service by our waiter. The food is fabulous...so many choices on the menu. We will be back for the spring menu!
