   Had a fantastic dinner with some friends. Emily, our server, was friendly, personable and professional. The food was delicious. Shared the scallops, tartar and pork belly. Especially enjoyed the stuffed chicken breast - large portion and super tasty.

   It should be noted by open table that there are tables in the restaurant with the CN tower view that can be reserved for a fee which are not available through open table but can be booked through restaurant website

   I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday. Service was slow. The martinis were small. The corn bread was delicious but the burrata salad was mediocre. I received my pork chop that was delicious but small. My wife received her order that was incorrect. They took it away and much later brought the same wrong order. By that time I had finished my meal and my wife wasn’t enjoying the evening so we didn’t have dessert. It’s unfortunate to have that experience when the venue is so nice.

   Had an amazing experience at Aera last night! The food, drinks, and view were amazing! Service was a bit slow but there was one Asian server who was sooo sweet and on top of everything. I wish I got her name to personally call her out. Highly recommend!

   My wife and I dine out often and have no problem spending money when the experience justifies it. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed to deliver on basic service despite offering high quality sushi. To start, we had made a reservation for my wife’s birthday, but there was no acknowledgment of the occasion. More on this in a bit… My wife ordered a basic gin sour that was poorly made and undrinkable. The drink sat on the table for 2.5hrs untouched, yet the waitress never checked in or offered to replace it—she didn’t even ask about it. 20 minutes after we finished our starters, we eyed down and called the waitress over to order our mains. She very rudely informed us that the kitchen is closing in 10minutes meanwhile we were never informed of the closing time ahead of time. Although we asked for our mains to be coursed out, the food was all dropped to our table at once creating yet another feeling of being rushed and overlooked. The manager did come around to fix this however. We were finally handed a dessert menu (hoping to order a dessert for my wife’s birthday) but were left completely ignored for 25 minutes. We flagged down a busy boy to get us the check so that we could get out of there. The waitress never returned to see us and someone else brought us the check. It’s truly disappointing because the food was actually very good, but the lack of service and attention made for a completely frustrating experience. We won’t be returning, and we certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of places that offer both great food and great service, and this is not one of them

    Not sure how anyone could write a bad review of this place. From the point of check in up until dessert, everything was impeccable. Our server was amazing, super sweet and very attentive. Her attention to detail was superb as well. Obviously you’re going to dine here for the view of Toronto and the CN building which was nothing short of what you would expect. Again, everyone was so kind to us and we loved our seating arrangements at the chef’s table. Great food, great service, worth every cent. 100% would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice date night or a cool way to see a beautiful view of Toronto.
