What a fabulous time! John greeted me kindly and made me aware that I was there on the wrong day. Horrified, I asked if it was probable to get my party of 7 in. The kind supervisor came over, went to speak with the chef and Nicole, the waitstaff, and they made it happen. We have lovely time. Nicole was kind, not pretentious (we are a rowdy bunch) and just a delight! Thank you to the staff for making our first High Tea so rememberable.

Great service from our server and the food was of a good standard and value for Belfast. Also loved that you could try different teas. Our server identified that we were celebrating my friend’s 60th birthday so they brought a decorated Happy Birthday slate with extra macarons on it for her, which was a lovely touch. However disappointed that there wasn’t a variety of savoury items, just sandwiches and a dainty soup cup. It would have been outstanding if there had been less sandwiches and a savoury pastry or two. I did look for but couldn’t find the detailed menu before I booked however in hindsight the photo on the website was an accurate representation.

The standard afternoon tea fare of finger sandwiches, scones and various macarons and tea cakes were all delicious. The tea selection was excellent, and the waitstaff were extremely friendly. The whole experience was a delight.

Decided to try the afternoon tea at the Titanic Hotel to celebrate my wife’s birthday. From the moment we arrived Matthew who looked after us so well on the afternoon explained our menu and the various parts of same. He checked if any of us had any problems with any of the sandwich contents and when 2 of us explained we didn’t like salmon arranged for substitutes instead. We picked our initial tea choices and the sandwiches arrived along with chef’ surprise which was a soup which was really nice. The selection of sandwiches provided was very good. Next up were the scones which seemed just out of the oven and a lovely selection of pastries. We also took the opportunity to try a different tea selection as well. The whole afternoon was perfect due to the high quality of the food itself, excellent presentation and Matthew’ s expertise and I would highly recommend trying this for that special occasion .

It was just fine. Food was very bland - the sweets were extremely sweet. Most of the items tasted the same. Service was full on to begin with but then we were forgotten about. Forgot my mum’s birthday platter. Staff wearing their own take on the uniform which looks scruffy and also wearing trainers which in my opinion doesn’t match the 5 star style they’re attempting. Toilets dirty and toilet rolls everywhere

I would suggest that empty tables be completly cleared of used and dirty crockery in a more quicker and effiicient manner so patrons are not greeted with the sight of clutter and uncleared tables on arrival. When the said dirty crockery is cleared that it is not piled up on the bar for the bar staff to clean at the Bar spoiling the whole ambience of the room. Surely there is a pot/still room out of sight of customers for the dishes/crockery to be washed and cleaned. I appriciate it may have been a busy afternoon surely the managment should put in systems to cope with this to maintain a high quality of service. Our server I may add was first class.
