TĪNG, named after the Chinese word for ‘living room’, is the collective name for the restaurant and lounge on level 35 of Shangri-La The Shard, London.

TĪNG Restaurant's delicious afternoon tea is the perfect way for guests to indulge while enjoying views of London that stretch for miles. Freshly-made sandwiches and baked scones are served alongside delicate themed treats.

It is available between 12:30 until 16:00 and tables will be booked for 2h30 min. No-shows or cancellations made within less than 1 week notice will not be eligible to a refund.

    We wanted “high tea”, big view of the city and to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Ting checked all the boxes and then some! The champagne was icing on the cake.

    My parents went for their wedding anniversary and they loved every moment. They gave them a gift for their anniversary and couldn't do enough for them. It was a gorgeous afternoon Lunar tea. The Views were spectacular judging by the photos. Thank you Ting for making it so special for mum and dad.

    Breathtaking views of London. We were lucky enough to witness a spectacular pink sunset, accompanied by delicious food and drinks, alongside a delightful service and atmosphere.

    This wasn't our first afternoon tea at Shangri-La The Shard, London, and it won't be our last. It may not be the cheapest option in London but it has to be one of the best. You're made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Fantastic food, fantastic drink, fantastic views and fantastic service - what else could you hope for.

    Great service, very attentive team, couldn’t fault them. The Chinese New Year theme was nice, great selection of teas but sadly let down by the poor quality of the afternoon tea and flat Wild Idol therefore it was not good value for money.

    The vegan options were amazing. Can’t really compare as we have not had many afternoon tea outings due to limited vegan options in Australia but it was so nice being able to enjoy. The views are self explanatory the staff were extraordinary the food was replenished regularly and the tea section selection like a library. They have very unique Chinese spiced flavours in some dishes as well.

    Had a great experience. Our table overlooked Tower Bridge, we were attended to at the right times and given longer than the specified 2 hours at the table. Food was also excellent.
