    El concepto es comida campestre de Veracruz, y los ingredientes destacados son la trucha y el conejo. Pedimos varios platillos para compartir y nos fascinó el esquite, las truchitas fritas, el conejo con mole y el helado de pistache. El servicio fue excelente, nos brindaron mucha atención y buenas recomendaciones durante toda la noche. Hicieron que mi cumpleaños fuera agradable.

    I was skeptical when I saw the menu which featured primarily trout and rabbit. Fine I font eat rabbit, the choices seemed limited;however with the help of the waiter we had a fabulous meal. We started with the trout memela which was a tortilla with trout, avocado and some delicious greens. Then we had the plantain tostafo which was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The almond mole was amazing. We also shared a plate of grilled vegetables which was a generous selection of perfectly grilled vegetables. All of the dishes were such an interesting blend of flavors. Finally we went for the “French toast” dessert which was not like anything I’ve ever eaten. So many flavors in one dish (make sure you order with the pistachio ice cream). The serving was huge and I wanted more. The atmosphere is lovely. The restaurant is up stairs and is not very well marked. There was music playing but it was Mexican music and not loud. Our waiter could not have been nicer or more helpful. All in all a very pleasant surprise and the best meal we’ve had in Mexico City.

    La comida es muy rica, pero tardado muy tardado, lo que no me gustó es que a mi parecer prefieren dar servicio a las personas extranjeras que a nacionales, por la comida pensaría en ir de nuevo pero lo pensaría 2 veces.

    Agüita Fria isn’t commonly on a lot of people’s lists but I found it to be an unforgettable and unique dining experience. The dishes are all centered on a local areas speciality of trout and rabbit. I only tried the trout dishes and the vegetarian and those were amazing. Also the set up of the restaurant is settled in a older building with an open balcony concept in the background. Another just beautiful night in CDMX with amazing ambiance. Staff was attentive and gave their recommendations.
