   Server was nice, but very forgetful. Opted not to write anything down, and they forgot a lot of things because of it. Wasn't that attentive. $18 for a bottle of San Pelegrino is absurd. Got the same bottle at Blind Rabbit for $6 two nights prior. Also $18-$20 for a drink is absurd - this is salt lake city, not Manhattan - especially when theyre highly metered in SLC. Food was good, though.

   The restaurant was beautiful. They had a super nice bar. I had a New York steak and it was cooked perfect. I also had a side of the macaroni and cheese, and it is the best in town. wow. This is the place to get sushi! Many choices. You can make a reservation and no standing in line on the sidewalk. Staff was very professional and polite.

   Five stars AGAIN! Made it back as promised (twice in my three da6 visit☺️) and it did not disappoint! Had to repeat the Ahi Zen but everything else was new and equally scrumptious. Shout out to our fabulous waitress, Alania, and she thought our Sunday fab waiter was named Derek. Short version, this is a fabulous place with awesome service. Probably a good thing I don’t live here….I might need that Ahi Zen every night😉!

   This place was SO amazing that I am hoping to go back before I have to leave town on Wednesday! All of the sushi was so delicious, as were the fun cocktails. Service was top notch (so sorry I did not write down our waiter’s name but he was awesome!). Everything was so fresh, with flavors and textures perfectly blended….and the ambience was great too. Loved EVERYTHING about this place….highly recommend❤️!

   Absolute wonderful restaurant with helpful and kind staff. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was as well. It did get a little too loud for my taste with the DJ, but I could forgive that with everything else being top notch.

   The service was amazing and the food was just as good! The cocktails were beautiful and presentation of every dish was brilliant. What a fun place . Don’t miss this one

   Great food but weird that they feel the need to make fun of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on their drink menu. It would be better if this restaurant was open to all!

    The decor is beautiful. The bar is beautiful and the live DJ was great. The worst thing about Aker is the food. The miso cod was good and the presentation was nice. The sushi rolls were also good. But the rock shrimp, gyoza and tempura dish were not.
