   The Kimpton hotel is beautiful, and the restaurant is no exception. While the prices were reasonable, the food was average at best. The Zucchini Noodles and Chicken Tagine were both bland. The typical explosion of spice you would expect from a Moroccan dish just wasn't there, and the noodles were overcooked. The service was the bright spot, our server couldn't have been more attentive, and the wine list was solid.

   The meal was the worst we have had on Roatan. The restaurant was not at all busy, one other table of diners, and it took the waiter more than 20 minutes to attend to our table. The food was poorly prepared and oily.

   The menu never changes here although they say it does seasonally. May is the same as October. Ho-hum. However the service was so much better this time.

   Highly disappointed and overall a terrible experience. We decided to give it a try and even though the place is nicely done and decorated, it really could be anywhere and definitely did not feel like we were in Roatan. The service was slow and unattentive and the food was mediocre. After sitting at the table for an hour we had only had table bread and one cocktail. The food took forever to come out and it was one waiter (not ours) who noticed and did something. He actually apologized and even though he tried to make it better it only went downhill from there. The food was pricey and did not deliver. The menu description is definitely deceiving. The worst part was talking to the so-called manager on duty who was so unapologetic and showed no empathy towards the fact that we had wasted over two hours of our precious time on the beautiful island of Roatan on a bad dining experience. If you are looking for superb service, amazing food in a beautifully curated tropical island ambiance go to Luna Muna at Ibagari instead!!
