   Ordered the rump steak 300g. There's no way it was 300g. Heaps smaller. Had to pay an extra $3 for Veggies instead of salad. The "veggies" consisted of 2 tiny slithers of pumpkin, tomatoe, and a tiny bit of capsicum. The meal also came with chips which was a tiny portion. Overall that steak cost $42 dollars and I was still hungry afterwards. The smallest steak meal I've ever had. We won't be going back. It was a busy night with a 45min wait for food. We then found another place to go to for dessert to try and fill us up. The waiter seating people was snapping at people. We heard him swaring to another staff member. Just a bad experience overall.

   Absolutely amazing venue, views & food that was pure art! The Barramundi with mango salsa!! Great service & friendly staff. This would be our local if we lived here.

   Food and drinks service was quick given they had a big crowd. Menu offered a good variety of choices. Only negative was bar staff unable to recommend wines due to staff not being familiar with differences between wines listed on drinks menu. Overall a good meal was had by most of our large group

   Alex Surf club never disappoints for a beer a and and lunch/dinner. It was peak season so very busy.
