Alice B. restaurant and bar from award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken combines Southern California’s incredible seasonal bounty with Mediterranean-leaning flavors. The culinary vision is a collaborative effort between Feniger, Milliken and acclaimed Executive Chef Lance Velasquez.

This unique dining experience is located at Living Out, a luxury resort-style LGBTQ+ active senior community surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her life partner Gertrude Stein, the restaurant establishes a vibrant space where culinary excellence, art, and community converge seamlessly.

We offer indoor & outdoor seating, plus bar seating. Dinner starts at 5PM. Bar menu starts at 4PM. Join us for Brunch on Sat & Sun from 10AM - 2PM & live music on select nights.

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, including Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, BBQ Mexicana, SOCALO, and most recently Alice B.

    The food was superb!!!! Our waitress was horrible. No olates. Then would bring plates and no knives. Then leave finished dishes on table. Never asked if we needed anything we sat in the bar area . The bartender and manager were great and helpful. Would go back again… sure the waitress was a one off!

    The food was amazing. Service was off. Our waitress started off good but then didn’t come back to the table until our party of 4 asked for the check. We assumed she took a break.

    Delicious food. Pork shoulder and shepherd’s pie were excellent. The soup was delicious and rich. Together, with the cheddar biscuits, was wonderful. Service was attentive and friendly. The ambience was a bit off. It felt like a dressed up Embassy Suites lounge. We loved the art but I also understand the location in an apartment complex makes this hard. I feel maybe more decor, like plants and larger and brighter art on the walls. Maybe different, less beige, upholstery on the benches. And lighter and more colorful walls could help.

    Food & service was incredible. Karen our service could not have been any better! My only negative comment was our table area was dark & needed to use our phones flashlight to see.

    One of the best restaurants in the valley. 5th time here. Branzino was very good. Chicken was on the dry/overcooked side- unusual because it’s usually excellent. Not bad enough to send back tho. Cocktails need improvement. Overall a very good restaurant and will return.

    Food was fantastic and service was excellent. Cocktails were top notch. Even the music was superb. Classic jazz. The only thing that marked the ambience was a very loud table nearby.
