    I have dined at The Allanton Inn several times now,I have always had an excellent meal and service,my round trip to vist is 128 miles! Well worth the drive

    Called here for lunch and catch up and the food, service and venue were, as usual, simply perfect. Would heartily recommend the Allanton Inn - its a great place to enjoy good food.

    Excellent service and generally delicious food. Obviously a very popular place with the ambience very welcoming. All but one of the dishes served were top class. The only disappointment was the roast beef which was decidedly stringy and tough.

    High quality local produce, beautifully cooked. Friendly service. We had spring rolls & scotch egg to start, pork loin & beef for mains and affogato & cheese to finish. All delicious.

    As usual the food was delicious and if a good portion size. Friendly and attentive staff. The Allenton Inn is our favourite place to eat.
