   Fun place to visit while in the mountains. Truly German food and I did not see anything on the menu that would stray away from that (no picky eaters here). There were only three of us so the fondue with two minimum required made it a little difficult to order. We decided to start with the “cheese fondue” appetizer which isn’t really fondue, more just a bowl of melted cheese with a side of stale bread. We added the pickles, steamed veggies, and potatoes (thankfully to give it some life). Would not recommend this appetizer. Then we got the beef fondue for two. It was good - lots of steak - and the sauces were amazing, definitely recommend. Finished with the apple strudel dessert and it was really very good, highly recommend. It comes with a vanilla cream and option to add whipped cream which we got, but it did not really add anything special. Service was attentive, water was plentiful, atmosphere was welcoming, and the noise level was very calm which we like.

   Cozy place to be with the family. Our server took sometime to come check on us so we had to call another server. I had to be up and down to the bar to get straws and silverware. Food was good, drinks were great.

   Great dinner at Almresi. We were 4 people, we had raclette for 2, 2 of us shared the schnitzle, our sons had the pork shank and the beef roulaude. Everything was amazing! Do yourself a favor and have dinner here!
