   Amazing food-really brought me back to Hawaii islands. Everything was tasty and displayed so nicely. The only complaint I would have is that it’s too loud. I barely was able to hear the waitress’s recommendations or specials. Everyone was talking above everyone loudly and in such an open space.

   We booked a reservation for 11 people for an engagement celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, including brining in special bottles of champagne just for our group! The service was amazing and the food was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try them again!

   The food taste was great but the portions were pretty small for the sharing experience they promote. The cost was up there ,$140 bucks for 2 people, I drank tea and my husband had 2 beer. The restaurant is cute and very clean. Overall the experience was 7/10 I think they will get better with time

   I was really excited to try this Hawaiian restaurant! The ambiance was okay but not overly Hawaiian if you’ve been there and know what it’s genuinely like, and I sat in a booth which was too far away from the table. Our server was very nice and polite but new and tried (did ok). I had the maui ribs which were good but overpriced. The dirty fries were good. My friend had the loco moco and said it was okay but bland. The lil guy enjoyed his cheeseburger.

   Our experience at Aloha modern kitchen was very good. The servers were very attentive and the food was amazing. It was very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend checking out!

    I have been to Maui several times over the years. I can’t help but to compare. Now this in not negative by any means. The food is not what we are use to in Maui, still taste good just not the same. We know some of the ingredients you just can’t get here from Hawaii. The chef is doing very well to come close to what is available here for food flavour. Well worth trying out it’s the only good Hawaiian restaurant in Calgary!!
